Jill S.Butler, PE, CFM, has an extensive background in hydrologic and hydraulic engineering, with experience in flood studies, hydraulic modeling, hydrograph generation, hydraulic design of structures, and stormwater master planning. She has over 20 years of Civil Engineering experience including flood studies, hydraulic modeling, hydrograph generation, hydraulic design of structures, stormwater master planning, plans review, flood plain management, construction management, and secondary education instruction.

Hydraulic and Hydrologic Engineering:
Engineers in the field of Hydrology and Hydraulics work to apply scientific knowledge and mathematical principles to solve water-related problems in society. Our work helps to manage and redirect streams and rivers, prevent flooding, and guide stormwater through developed spaces.
We use the science which encompasses the occurrence, distribution, movement and properties of the waters of the earth in our design of bridges, dams, channels, canals, and storm drains.
